Ordered a new shell to replace the classic grey one.
And I was gonna take a pic of the newton ring on my screen but it’s weirdly gone so here’s the page on it in the gameboy modding book

So many options! And it’s pretty affordable to get into, and puts life into busted old hardware. I also wanna build one of those disassembled gameboy displays. They’re so cool!

My recommendation if you want to go is go in the morning, hit the gift shop first thing before many items sell out, and then do the activities using the play coins as later in the day it gets very busy. I defo wanna go again to do the Hanafuda workshop!

I feel this. Having dealt with the same not that long ago, I relied a lot on podcasts. Kinda gave the illusion of people chatting to you so I felt less alone. I also tried finding smaller online communities just to have some regulars to chat to but that was easier said than done.

Happy new year Liz!
I think getting closer to the person you want to be is always a huge thing so awesome stuff and here’s to another year of getting even closer!
