He's not lying, they're enacting it in full, not in part.

I've always wondered about his nomination to begin with. He's probably capable of fulfilling the role. That's not how this dumpster fire of an admin rolls. If they're actually doing the job, they're probably going against the admin's wishes.

Seems like there's a team in the background coaching them in this tactic. As you've noted, this is too consistent to be coincidental. They're turning their testimony into a stump speech and the GOP Chairs are just letting them run with it, even though it's an assault to decorum.

Probably best to withhold judgement when absolutely no evidence or details of the devices or the credentials of those who found them.

Evidence? Unnamed sources, with no info on their credentials, refuse to identify any details, but ask instead we believe their inflammatory claims that are announced with oddly coincidental timing. I'm not particularly open to conspiracies these days, enough of that from the GOP, but come on.

About as much chance of that as Trump being elected Pope. Wait...

This coming from one of the least knowledgeable public officials this country has ever seen. When do we get to see this guy in arraigned and imprisoned?

GermanyForeignOffice should have closed with "Maybe you should try it."

What thermostat is that that shows energy usage in kWh? Are those estimated or measured? The electrical engineer in me is curious.

You see, the passport was in case she got "accidentally" picked up in an ICE raid. The cash, who knows? We know what would be assumed of any average person under the same circumstances...

"JOBS" in all caps sure looks like a Trump social media characteristic.

Agreed, WTAF! It sucks to be stuck with this shitshow of an admin. and when we need them most, all of the checks and balances are abdicating their responsibility to shut this down. There are probably hundreds of individual offenses at this point that would warrant Impeachment in normal times.

Spark gaps, cap and pin, wow! Are those concrete bus and switch supports? Where is this? I'm a substation electrical engineer in the Houston area and I'm done work in some old facilities around the country, but concrete supports like that are a new one for me.

I mean that's on brand for the mad king. The rules apply to thee, not me.

Come on Doug, don't you watch the news? The Mad King assures us that King Coal is going to save us all! 🤣

"Authoritarian" isn't cutting it anymore. It doesn't mean anything to average people. It's not triggering people as it should be. Gotta use something that raises folks hackles.

Ok, seriously, this guy is obviously unfit for office. Time to impeach, for lack of mental acuity, among about 1000 other things.

Can she be disbarred over these obviously nonsense statements? Can any other lawyer in or adjacent to the trump regime?

While I appreciate the concept, the idea that these Elmo acolytes would even recognize JFK's limo or know who JFK is is giving them too much credit.

Can you recommend some good places to start reading up on this? I'm curious to understand the parallels. Thanks!

Umm, "work with Trump" and "show voters you're focused on governance" couldn't be more mutually exclusive. Anyone wanting to actually "Make America Great Again" should be focused on the latter.

And let's not give them any responsibilities related to railroads either, that'd be too distracting from promoting the industry we want them to covertly "regulate".
comment in response to
post
It'd be cool if they had "Railroad" in their name, because everyone likes trains, but not anything actually related to NG or pipelines, because that might draw too much attention and limit profiteering and corruption.
comment in response to
post
If only there was an agency that had oversight on the NG industry to insure the operators were doing at least the bare minimum in the public interest.
