The woke snowflakes that they were only aware of because the digital IV in their pocket told them to. Some of these red states know almost nothing of the people they're supposed to hate, I'd assume anyway - the election results would have to be purpleish for them to have come into contact

I saw an interesting breakdown of age demos that voted... Gen X and Gen Z went heavy for Trump, Boomers and Millenials, leaned the other way in a distinct enough manner to be notable. Kids and their parents voted alike for short This doesn't answer your question but it does offer some threads

calls in our debt? This is what sent Germany into the spiral that killed the Weimar Republic, and poured gas on the fire of the extreme nationalism and grievance of the citizens of germany, who then elected the worlds worst person in modern history. History is rhyming like Biggie Smalls lately

The Democratic party could be like 3x as worse as they already are (as a whole), and they would still be the preferable choice. Just on the basis that they're not going to throw our soft power out the window without a second thought. Maybe I'm just paranoid but, what happens if a foreign nation ..

The two of them together, which even maybe 3 months before the election wasn't something that was a thought in anyones mind, is a symbiosis of the worst kind. Trump was in desperate need of a bail out, both in money and in his freedom, and Elon to his credit, saw the opportunity and pounced.

perhaps too loudly, or not loudly enough, depending on whether you have it or not. Elon has all the money in the world, after having a career in which he's essentially been almost a complete fraud, yet he isn't satisfied with what he has, he also has to make sure that no one else is eating.

did ya ever consider that maybe the media isn't covering the protests that absolutely have been happening, I know because I was at one a week ago. Get your head out of your ass
comment in response to post
the fuck are you doing besides rage posting on social media at someone who literally has about as much power as you, possibly less? I don't think you understand how persuasion works, or anything really.
comment in response to post
been doing that for like 3 years since I realized they're just essentially the TMZ of DC

why is reuters guessing what "likely" caused retail sales to drop ... rhetorical question

As far as I can recall, Clinton approved an op to take out Bin Laden. The Bush's and the Bin Ladens had been old allies from the rebel days, and from what I remember, stopped pursuing it when he took office. Regardless, the response to 9/11 likely would have looked way different.

I fail to see how I'm the bad guy or how you think that calling me or the general "we" is accurate or helpful. I spent 4 years trying to snap people into it and even got people to go out and vote against it in states that mattered. So direct your misplaced rage and unhelpful attitude, elsewhere

So get off your ass and do something about it then, you psychopath. I didn't ask for this and I'm certainly not going to be the one to solve it. i don't hear the Canadian government promoting Americans who want to get to a safer place to be more effective, opening the doors to help

i don't remember what this in response was to, but i can't argue with the Plus

I have been, if you check my posting history, you're not going to find much activity in the last month. So now its your turn.

Turns out you don't need Elon to install a chip in your head that will certainly kill you, he can just follow t's lead and buy his way into the henhouse, which is now the foxhouse. Some puns intended, that last one wasn't

assuming we make it there. 2 years is too long

you're right. Performance is a part of politics, and the Dems absolutely suck at the performative part for the most part. The question is, so what, now what? What can anyone do today, tomorrow, yesterday, in the present moment, to turn this around? I have no idea and I don't think many do
comment in response to post
After alot of research into his background, and how he came to be who he is today, I don't think he ever intended to reach any of his goals. He essentially saw Trump run for President to get out of being held accountable, and being a fellow sociopath, saw an opening for himself to do the same
comment in response to post
Yeah, I get that people want to express their displeasure and social media is a relatively safe place to do it, for now. The times where that is helpful or even cathartic are over.. I've always accepted that the first rule of emergencies is don't panic. The blame game is a form of panic
comment in response to post
It seems it doesn't matter who's fault it is, the present is the same. If you think it helps sure, blame them. Then what? Be helpful
comment in response to post
this is the sensible response instead of just picking names out of a hat despite their intentions , their role, and their culpability. You can either blame everyone or forget about who to blame and figure out what to do now. There's zero utility in playing the blame game for people out of power

why dont you just keep going back further, how about George W? Ronald Reagan? The SCJ memo that explicitly called for the playbook that the GOP built and extremized, written by Lewis Powell in 1971 that most people aren't even aware of? I get it, but also , theres a need to move on.

and also to be fair to Garland, he had to clean up a similar fire in the DoJ that Biden had to do with the government in general. I've stopped going on social media because I'm trying to not allow myself to be consumed by every little grievance people have. Intention matters
comment in response to post
hey, i just said basically the same thing. Merrick Garland did what he thought was right, and it's not like any of the people complaining about him could have forecasted how it played out - if they could have, they would and should have. It's a waste of limited resources to be angry at him
comment in response to post
Mitch McConnell = very fair point. Merrick Garland? Until I hear him say explicitly he wanted to let him get away with it, why waste the energy? It sounds like the ppl who are still saying I told you so about Bernie. Time to move on from that

bout time. We just watched the dumbest people in the HoR try to impeach people for 4 years for fake things, the comments I see most in the videos about all these insane EO sprees, is where are the Americans at? From Canadians and other citizens of the world

Oh have they? How fucking convenient, where have I heard Lindsey Graham say that before ?

bring back the 90% EFT over 3 millon dollars of income, if they really want the 50s. They want the economic gilded age and the racism of the middle of the century intact

ive been pointing this out for like half of my life, Christianity is essentially become a tool for people to excuse their sinful behavior because "they're a god fearing individual" or whatever excuse. The two greatest informational coups of human history are organized religions, and big tech

i judge people individually, cause I am grown up and not childish enough to paint everything with the same brush based on arbitrary declarations by some jackass on social media. Give me an example of Mark Cuban's unethical behavior if you're going to foist your opinion on me.

You don't seem to be intellectual or honest, given your declarative position w/ nothing to back it up. Make an argument instead of making yourself look like an idiot

Schumer and Pelosi need to retire. Biden I thought did a good job as President but unfortunately we don't live in a time where we can totally ignore style over substance. Chuck Schumer looks like a dipshit every single time he makes a statement. Trumps old but he has a young cult
comment in response to post
Now they pretend to be against it while still doing it and programming their massively funded media apparatuses to just talk about woke woke woke woke all day, when the moist iconic figures on the left were not even close to the caricature painted of the left these days
comment in response to post
Until the gerentocracy of the Democratic party gets the hell out of the way and lets Gen X and Y and I suppose Z now, start taking the lead, the Democratic party will continue to lose the culture battle. The irony is that not too long ago the right was trying to censor and cancel everyone.
comment in response to post
really so all those TV spots he did telling people to vote for Kamala were just a rouse? I hate to break it to you but if you just cast a sweeping judgement on people solely based on their net worth without looking at how they got there, you're no better than the RW clowns.
comment in response to post
I wouldn't say it was the only factor, it had a huge role in it. The information gap left open by the Dems + corporate media, was filled with the informational equivalent of explosive diarrhea. I thought I was spoiled , but instant gratification and entitlement is something else these days.

If it just says generic POLICE on it w/o any other ID, I'd be extremely suspect about it, there are plain clothes agents out there of course, but this doesnt match up with what I've observed before.
comment in response to post
I also observed them in a closed environment, and sporadically throughout a period of 8 months. If they are ICE they should have more than just POLICE written on their vests. I'm not 100 % on this, but typically the vests will identify their department. SWAT, FBI, DHS, ICE, NYPD, DOC, etc.
comment in response to post
They should have some ID on them that shows it. From what I remember from observing those agents, they seemed way too happy about what they were doing. I dont know the context in which you saw them but it sounds very sketchy
comment in response to post
I've seen ICE officers in tactical vests before (don't ask me where) , I believe one side said ICE and the other said ICE with Immigrations Cutom Enforcement underneath it. This was in 2017 so I don't really have an answer, but probably? They are technically law enforcement
