Would not take much either to turn Ukrainian hatred towards the West; russians are their enemy, but there is no feeling that captures the mind like betrayal. And to many Ukrainians, NATO looks a lot like cowards that were barely able to meet the bare minimum and then just shrugged their shoulders

If there was a way for russia to invade those countries (except maybe Italy) without having to go through states that actually did their part I would watch it laughing my ass off

That was done so well that I reckon people that only know the military by buzzwords on movies would nod approvingly and seriously at that hahaha

Maybe if you are going up against an opponent at the same disparity as Ukraine is against russia, yeah you would do better. Versus somebody like China, absolutely not.
Korean War still came down to a lot of trench fighting by the end and America was a military giant then as well

Oh c'mon America! Really?!?!?!?!

I'm assuming this is a metaphor for something and not literal...?

I really just don't get what Zelensky is thinking, unless it's play along for now and tell them to fuck off later

What the fuck? Exactly what has Ukraine gained by this deal? Since it was signed there has literally been nothing given by the new administration and every step taken to bring russia back into the fold

@ryanmcbeth.bsky.social , you're falling a little into the "nothing ever happens" camp a bit lately; you don't need 30 tankers to support an exercise.
Who said anything about supporting US forces? US fighters are helping shoot down drones, not a stretch to send tankers to support IAF sorties

Let's be honest, this is more an actual representation of what America is really like; it's not as though they haven't sold out or otherwise denigrated every ally they've had the last few decades. People should stop being surprised

Bloody hell, a cursory look at your comments basically reveals a dude that squeals "CIA!!!!" "Bandera!!!!" to pad whatever idiot conspiracy you're trying to peddle at the time. I try to digitally quarantine the idiots on this app so good bye to you my troubled friend haha
comment in response to

Yeah I don't think that article with the transcript backs you up like you think it does, no matter how often you squeal "Bandera" to try and fill in the gaps haha

I'd say work on your grammar and spelling first before offering any portrayal :)

Like the new angle you have of 2+2=pineapple because everything is made up is pretty good in some regards; if you have nothing of substance to argue on, just claim everything is made up and nobody can prove you wrong otherwise. For the rest of us living in reality though, it's boring; so ta ta 😀
comment in response to

When your argument reaches the point of "everything is just made up, so everything can mean anything I want and if you say otherwise you're just culturally biased" you know you should have given up long ago lol

how much things can change in a year, damn

Yet has kept it's sovereignty; you seem to think that's a more tragic proposition than surrendering which would just entail more.
I get it; when a ppl resist when you know you would have just given in, it can make you feel insecure. You can deal with that by yourself

When you have to defend an asinine comment by alluding to someone as a sex offender, I think you are just joining in on the trolling of yourself. Stop bullying yourself 🙂

So cute you think your consent is needed to platform a comment you made in public hahaha

And they let the air defence crew get away, wtf!?!? Half-assing their potential gains

Most empires fall in the end because they weakened themselves before suffering a catastrophic invasion... the irony that the most powerful to ever exist and likely ever will for quite a while afterwards is going to be brought down solely by sheer idiocy

You can give Ben shit about some of his stances (and you should) but I don't think you can ever call him a grifter like many of the other rightoids; he is generally very consistent regardless of what the MAGA cult is doing. Same with Douglas Murray

What app/site do you use to get that?

Going to use that one in some teams meetings

Sweet; I'll definitely see if I can check in with you after after the summer offensive to see the trends
comment in response to
post
Thanks for the reply :) I'll try my luck with one more; do you detect any trends on the recent losses? I saw Ukr and rus were about the same last time which really surprised me since Ukr is playing defence. FPVs just that deadly now it throws the 3:1 offence: defence rule out the window?
comment in response to

you think this is the last year they get to really do a large scale offensive? You see the raw data more than most so figured you would have more of an idea
Not sure I buy the line in circulation that they are running out of equipment necessarily but happy to be proven wrong

I do appreciate you advertising yourself as somebody to be culled and filtered out; one of the nice things about Blue Sky is that you can have far better convos here provided there is just a little pruning here and there :)

They say the first to resort to personal insults in an argument is the idiot; not sure there's a word to describe somebody like yourself that leaps into it straight away completely unprovoked when somebody is just asking a clarifying question
comment in response to

It's actually this New Americanism that I find a little mediocre and very russia like; a large demographic will happily wallow in shit so long as they feel they can be spiteful to others around them while being assertively ignorant
comment in response to
post
Forgot that too, that was silly of me; though at this point man I think we have established he asks questions with a complete disregard to any answer he might get. Literally weirdly asked about German tanks as though some kind of gotcha completely ignoring Poland's status is far more relevant

Bye Felicia :)

Actually at this point I think I'll just block him; I have a policy of trying to clean my timeline of idiots so they don't clutter and I really get the feeling you could lay out all the numbers to all the questions and he'll just go "lol, you believe in numbers." Standard trump voter really
comment in response to
post
Yeah except they didn't.... interesting distortion of reality you continue to labour under. Easy example; trump tried to get Europeans to agree to sanctions relief. They told him to fuck off. The new American obsession to feel obeyed, and even when they aren't to just pretend they are, is mediocre
comment in response to
post
I think he is just trying to cycle through as many questions as he possibly can without actually caring to know the answer since it's clear he knows very little about the Baltic but wants to have a loud opinion anyway. Like if he actually thought tanks were an issue, Poland would have answered it
comment in response to
post
Now since you asked about German tanks before like it was something of a "gotcha!" have you bothered to know the Polish tank fleet, now and future since if you were actually discussing the Baltic, that would be more relevant. Or were you just being asinine cause you thought it was edgy?
comment in response to
post
Easy answer; low but also largely irrelevant as German and Czech shell production among others is excellent. Like anybody that actually bothers to read knows this. Is like the best you have, little "nah" "lol" while asking a question that should if you had known better you never would have asked
comment in response to
post
Like I'm assuming from your responses you didn't bother previously learning about Poland's procurement drives the last few years or even what they have now after I've mentioned it. Much more relevant question than about Germany since Poland is actually geographically invested

I like that analogy a lot more, and even then I don't think it still captures the magnitude of the stupidity on display
comment in response to

Moron even said something to the tune of "If russia doesn't come to the negotiating table, we will just walk away from the war." Art of the deal people, ensure you telegraph ahead that you have no leverage as though that is some kind of leverage in and of itself
comment in response to
post
I actually forgot to mention that NATO already has 3 Battlegroups in the Baltic that will now be ongoing so yeah, while NATO has been incompetent thus far, there is a limit to how far that line can be pushed. Poland WILL intervene directly as well if there is an attack in the Baltics
comment in response to
post
Weird question to ask; better one would be how many does Poland have and think you'll find the answer is "a lot" and they are increasing and modern. Then you should be counting just their MLRS alone not to mention a multitude of other factors and this foregone conclusion makes no sense
comment in response to
post
To Finland's credit, they seem to have been the most proactive and decisive of all the Baltic countries (you could argue in all of NATO in many regards) but it's also telling that they have also only seized one as well and it's been a while since they have tried again
comment in response to
post
True, but you could argue that the Finns got the first one on the account of surprise. How NATO responds to this will actually determine if they have a plan going forward despite resistance or just always being reactive
comment in response to
post
What's the mmm sure about? They did seize a tanker
comment in response to
post
Estonia got chased off inspecting a tanker; days later, rus actually seizes a tanker. So far, crickets which kind of sums up NATO to be honest. Finland would be a much tougher nut to crack nowadays, but not uncrackable esp. if they just seize a sparsely populated par and go "what you going to do?"
comment in response to

I would actually be more forward; what has he seen that deters him? He keeps going because he thinks there is an advantage to doing so.
Meanwhile, EUR tariffs Ukr $3bil then pat themselves on the back for giving a $1bil aid package.
