Burt Lancaster by Hirschfeld

It’s “Sunday Sleepy Morning.” Now on every music service!

A very telling and tactful statement from the great Timothy Dalton. Radiolimes.com

I've had the theme song from Horizons (the old Epcot theme park ride) stuck in my head for about a week straight now. And I don't entirely mind it.

AND IF YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU CAN BELIEVE IT, it's a Friday once again!

As the US film industry is collapsing, Canada should reinstitute a new era of tax shelter film investment. We have a chance to introduce the next David Cronenbergs and Bob Clarks to the world while taking advantage of this moment to become a larger part of the cultural pie.

I know we all hate M*ta with the fire of a thousand suns (with good reason), but as a broke-ass artist I need to extend my reach as much as I can. If you’re still on insta and you’d like to follow me work, you can find me at: brianna_ashby_illustration 🖤

Amazon now controls James Bond. Let that bullshit sink in.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become creatively controlled by an online shop

Still gathering my thoughts on the whole Bond/Amazon announcement today... seemed fairly obvious to me that Broccoli and Wilson were slowing down so can't say I am all that surprised. Also disappointed and extremely cautiously optimistic.

This spring, FANGORIA pays tribute to one of the most visionary filmmakers of all time - David Lynch. Though Lynch’s film work spanned (and defied) genres, his dark visions over the years – from ERASERHEAD to BLUE VELVET to LOST HIGHWAY and beyond – have left an indelible imprint on our readers.

Please enjoy a few pics of the David Bowie Picture Disc 45 boxset that I purchased under duress last weekend. It's pretty cool!

Good lord, what a staggering waste of literally planet-changing money.

Saw a screening of a few of David Lynch’s short films. I miss seeing art made viscerally, cheaply, and for a small messy audience. It actually makes the world feel bigger and more interesting. Mass appeal shrinks it all down. Shit inspired me. Glad I saw it.

PSA: All of David Lynch's features have just dropped at archive dot org, including Industrial Symphony No 1, Hotel Room, and the Duran Duran concert

Truly heartbreaking to hear the news that Biff Wiff has passed away. Biff was one of ITYSL’s breakout stars. His gruff comedic style belied a warmth and humor with which he embraced his fans and newfound recognition. Biff brought joy and laughter to so many. He will be dearly missed. 💔

It's hilarious seeing MAGA dudes from southern states talk about how easy it would be for them to walk into Canada and take it over, like we all haven't seen their entire state shut down after one inch of snowfall or the temp dropping below 40 degrees F.

Still thinking about that one line where Wallace Shawn makes reference to a play called The Violets are Blue. Is it real? Because it should be.

Somehow this album got lost and buried deep inside my memory banks until yesterday, which is totally ironic considering I named my master's degree art show after it... youtu.be/RLlN5V4rl5o?...
