Weirdly apposite that just this evening I was livestreaming with @adamratnermd.bsky.social about the founding of ACIP and several other vaccine policy structures, all linked to the introduction of measles vaccines in the 1960s and the downstream battles over distribution and funding.

And I'll just note that the February ACIP meeting remains cancelled also.
(For non-public health people: This is the outside-experts advisory committee that advises the CDC and HHS on the science behind the efficacy and acceptability of multiple vaccines.)
