It is with deep sadness that we confirm the passing of wargaming legend and CSRA Chairman Rodger B. MacGowan, mere weeks after he and his family lost everything in the Palisades fires. Our most profound condolences go out to Steven and Mae. Rodger was, as Steven has said, a river to his people.

Webtoons killed one of my comics for "nudity". On top of that, the very nature of their algorithm/model guarantees burnout and abysmal profit sharing for artists. I would strongly encourage people avoid Webtoons as much as possible.

For those who sneer at this: It doesn't fucking /matter/ if lawsuits like this are meritless. It doesn't matter if it'll get dismissed. What matters is that companies now know that they will have to spend money defending expensive lawsuits like this from state AGs. Because they hire women & POC.

I’m seeing a lot of soft takes from industry mutuals at the moment that we shouldn’t be so hard on those who use generative AI because it’s becoming harder and harder to resist. Wrong. Betraying your ethics (and your peers) because ‘everyone else is doing it’ does not suddenly make it acceptable.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm. The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him. Happy Black History Month.
