I think you are referring to our newest territory, Nunavut, which voted NDP (New Democratic Party). Their colour is orange. 🧡
Nunavut is the only federal jurisdiction with THREE official languages: English, French, and Inuktitut.

As it turned out, we regained our bellwether status by flipping red (Liberal) again, matching the incoming federal government. Congratulations to our new MP (Member of Parliament), Leslie Church.

I'm just waiting until after April 7 so that the complete slate of candidates will be available. I suspect my preferred party will not be fielding anyone in my riding, unfortunately, but I have my 2nd choice picked out, and I will be happy if that person wins. 🇨🇦

I've worked all 3 levels for years. Machine tabulators have been used by Toronto Elections for a while. Elections Ontario is bringing them in; we used them in our most recent election. Elections Canada has always used hand-counted ballots.
