As a father of five kids, I totally agree with this evergreen post.

Splat toys are a cheap fun way to entertain your kid and yet let them have an outlet to expand their energy. This specific splat toy is shaped as an egg #adhd #neurodiverse #parenting

A study of more than 30,000 British adults diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, found that, on average, they were dying earlier than their counterparts in the general population — around seven years earlier for men, and around nine for women.

ADHDers when the latest dopamine high wears off

Spouse is away on a work trip and I feel like a soggy, sad noodle. The house feels empty, even with the chaos my kid brings. It’s like my security blanket is gone, and I’m just...adrift. Is this normal, or just my ADHD brain missing its anchor?

People with ADHD/Autism are motivated differently from others. Most people: Rewards Importance Consequences People with ADHD/Autism: Passion/Purpose Interest Novelty Challenge Hurry (urgency) An easy way to remember this is the acronym PINCH.

Just read that those with adhd should go lower carb, under 100 grams a day as carbs can wreck havoc with adhd. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Carb monster here….

When does bluesky get an option to schedule posts ;o; I have so many ideas I wanna post and my ADHD always wants to post everything at once 😂

I recovered from a nasty bout of food poisoning recently and the only silver lining was convincing the hubby to let me eat the same meal 3xs a day for 2 weeks. A bowl of rice with clear ‘tofu and vegetable’ soup. He was baffled how anyone could be alright to eat the same 3 meals daily. #adhd

He’s making a list, He’s forgotten the list, He’s climbed up a tree with minced pie in his fists, Santa Claus has ADHD

An ingredient to watch closely for since it triggers adhd symptoms

Last-minute decision to fly into Wondefruit music festival this weekend in Thailand, with my kid—because ADHD mom life! 🌿 Music, nature, and all the outdoorsy vibes were just what we needed for a reset. 🌟 #MomLife #Wonderfruit #adhd #parenting #bangkok #pattaya

noise cancelling headphones for someone with adhd is such a miracle cure for some days

ADHD friends do this for each other.❤️❤️

ADHD in relationships can be a double-edged sword: intense passion and creativity, but also challenges with communication, focus, and follow-through. Understanding & patience go a long way, but so does learning how ADHD uniquely impacts your dynamic. #ADHD #Relationships

ADHD brains thrive on novelty and urgency. That’s why a last-minute deadline can spark superhuman focus, but routine tasks? They feel like climbing a mountain with no summit in sight!

Ever heard of ‘time blindness’? It’s an ADHD thing—losing track of minutes or hours, because your brain doesn’t naturally sense time passing. Alarms and timers = lifesavers!

Wish I could stop my brain from replaying negative scenes over and over again.

What’s an ADHD person’s favorite hobby? All of them. At once. For five minutes.

ADHD in boys tends to be external and visible, while in girls, it’s often internal and hidden. For example: Boys: More likely to show physical aggression or impulsive emotional outbursts. Girls: Experience intense emotions and are more prone to internalized stress, anxiety, or mood swings.

ADHD moms can hyperfocus on helping their kids with school projects but forget their own deadlines. It's not disorganization—it’s a brain prioritizing what matters most in the moment! #family

My brain is like my kid’s art supplies—scattered everywhere but always colorful! #adhd

ADHD mama’s idea of meal planning: Step 1: Grocery shop with a list. Step 2: Forget the list at home. Step 3: Make spaghetti.

ADHD moms don’t lose things. They just create treasure hunts for themselves and call it "multitasking."

Which adhd type are you mostly? I am generally ring of fire, overfocused

Just a reminder that if you have to reheat your hot drink several times its now "triple brewed" and you are being ⭐️fancy⭐️ not forgetful #ADHD

ADHD and Autism is not something you just grow out of. As you age you just grow into it… and learn to mask better.

Lol, could not have said this better!

I actually burst into tears when I got my diagnosis. Realised a lot of the things that made me unique, was actually just an ADHD trait. The realisation hit like a ton of bricks. I wasn’t special… I just had ADHD. Still struggle with that feeling sometimes.

How my ADHD manifests: - Every fresh todo app download feels like this is the one that will change my life - I once started a blog...it has 1 post from 2017 - Finishing tasks brings zero pride, just sheer relief - Listening to a slow talker? I’d rather watch paint dry..in real time What about you?

When texting an ADHD employee, this is what they think: 'Noted'= Fired '👍'= Fired with vibes 'Can we chat?'= Politely fired [No emojis]= Doom 'ASAP'= Actively Seeking Another Paycheck 'FYI'= Firing You Immediately 'Let’s circle back.'= Fired, but later Every ding= Do I cry or pack my desk first?

Just gave my kid enough supplements to start a health store. Lutein for myopia, fish oil for brain power, probiotics for gut, calcium for bones ... at this rate, they’ll be running marathons and curing colds by next week. What supplements do your kids take? #SuperKids #SupplementsForDays #adhd

ADHD isn’t just hyperactivity—it’s often missed in women & girls because the research focused on boys. Girls learn to mask their struggles, even fooling doctors. Many are misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression, left feeling overwhelmed & misunderstood. It’s time to do better. #Parenting #AUDHD

We don’t often give our kid melatonin, but there are some nights where she tosses and turns all night, so melatonin is our best bet for either of us to get some rest. Do you give your ADHD kid melatonin to help with sleep? If not, what works?

Family game night with ADHD: We start playing Monopoly, halfway through someone’s building a fort with the money, another’s Googling ‘how to win at Monopoly,’ and I’m just trying to remember whose turn it is!
