my papaia lore contains multitudes if u look at all this and then remember that in the same expac, she meets krile and immediately accuses her of trying to cast a hex on her (because she didnt understand that she was flustered by her beauty) and then later tries to give her a bug to apologize for it

i think what made it worse was, thru part of their relationship, antoneo thought nanamo was dead (the person he actually had a father-daughter relationship with) and kind of subconsciously used papaia as a stand-in to cope with the grief despite not really knowing anything about papaia by that point

they do move past it eventually ofc, but that whole thing happening so soon after they met made things kinda difficult. for awhile he could only tolerate her because he thought she was a wol (she said that she saw visions of a crystal) (it was a purple one not a blue one)

EXACTLY YEAH i was so surprised when i went to the gold court area in uldah (the huge fountain place) and saw that there were No new npcs there at all....for such a heavily decorated place??? and yeah youre right, other than moonfire the events for the limsa region dont really get a whole lot either
