Sorry, I hate sending really dull replies on here, but if I don't ask I'm going to be wondering which cartoon ape this refers to all day

A useful skill for a caterer perhaps, but not for a gladiator

These are properly brilliant. And believable.
Was reading through them and my kids, normally oblivious to anything I do, demanded to know what I was snorting at.

Agree with this, one of the best episodes in a long time for me. I wasn't keen on the Richard Hillman thing because we've had more than enough ghosts in the last few months, but loved that he was soaking wet and covered in canal weed

She's brilliant, though. We also got more Gail than we've seen in months and a scene with Brian in, which seems incredibly rare these days

A rare appearance from Gail, and some humour would be nice. But it's probably going to be Paul, Joel, and Joe bloody McIntyre as the ghosts of Xmas past, present and future; then someone strangled with some tinsel, starting a new, endless whodunnit

Many of us would just be happy to have a Corrie with no flashbacks, dream sequences, or ghosts.
