Hey Janet Albrechtsen, your mate Bruce Lehrmann is in court for allegedly stealing a car. I assume you’re going to mount a campaign asserting his innocence, painting him as the hapless victim of an unfair plot by a car pretending it was stolen for attention?

So brave and virtuous.

Hysterical little man-baby

I've already stated reasons above, the timing feels suspect.

Do you think Brereton was purely apolitical?

Feels a bit opportune to placate the teal/independents ahead of a potential Labor minority gov.

Nothing to do with a looming election, surely?

Agreed, the future is fucking bleak.

The geographical boundaries changing almost on a daily basis as Israel illegally encroaches on its territory. 140 countries have already recognised Palestine statehood, but if Labor did the same it would be opposing the US (heaven forbid) and suffer the eternal wrath of the Zionist lobby here.

The PLO declared independence of Israel in 1988 and since then Australia has never formally acknowledged the region as Palestine. I would've thought that a critical first step. Also, I now appear blocked by Van Badham. Not sure what in my post was so grievously inaccurate or offensive.. ?

Oops! Kim would like a quick word Patty.

Australia doesn't even recognize Palestine as a state, let alone genuinely supporting a two state solution.

Just dripping with awfulness.

Are they worse than the Libs though? That's the point here.

Dead-cat culture wars. "Look over there!" until the election (and not too closely to our policy abyss).

My vain hope is he's putting all his eggs in that one basket and the Trump/MAGA brand will be so unequivocally toxic by the election it will sink him by association.

You've missed my point entirely about the majors being paid for: www.marketforces.org.au/politicaldon... Labor is still opening coal mines in the face of a climate emergency. Who are they accountable to? Time is running the fuck out for planet Earth.

I agree with you. But I'm also not wrong, am I?

Labor needs external checks and balances. Fossil fuel corps have them in their back pocket and they've shown they can't be trusted with the environment. You've proudly declared yourself an environmentalist on the WoW, so how on earth is a business-as-usual Labor majority the best outcome?

I can't continue this pal, you keep creating strawmen.

Where did I say that?

No I don't think he cares about anyone but himself. That doesn't change the fact you were making a false equivalence.

Just as much? The US is funding a literal genocide in Gaza. No comparison.

This is hilarious. Why was it rejected in the first place??

Zionist lobby has a stranglehold on Aunty. No other feasible reason to pursue this.

Amazing, well done 👍

Albo kisses the ring early on, like they all do. No surprise here.

Were Labor somehow unable to negotiate with him?
