Every person attempting to enter Canada on a US passport should be charged a $CN100 entry fee. The fee must be paid in cash, in Canadian currency, at point of entry and payable every time the border is crossed. Those without the required payment are denied entry.

Anyone who has ever been in the military knows that if it happens on your watch, you own it. It was YOUR responsibility. FANTASTIC NEWS! In one of the first elections held after Trump’s November victory, Democrat Mike Zimmer has flipped a GOP seat by winning today’s special election in Iowa’s Senate District 35. Zimmer will fill the seat vacated when Chris Cournoyer was named Iowa’s lieutenant governor in December.

Sorting old photographs - me at 15 - one of the last Boy Seaman to graduate HMS Ganges and join the fleet. A 1969 change in the school leaving age ended the Boy service. The service has been condemned, but it took me off the street and gave me a life, an education, and pride.
