Exactly. The word blurs out my Mexicano father and Mexicana mother (both born in the U.S. but IYKYK) and my Chicano cousin who although they exhibited outwardly physical characteristics of a Chicana at birth is in fact Chicano.

I like that one too - widely used and understood I think. I’m probably conflating with what AI delivers every time you run an online search (even DuckDuckGo) or query that’s 20% imaginary - slop at the top of the search results.
