Alas there's no edit functionality yet, hopefully someday!
Nice to meet you! 👋🏼

Glad to hear it's helpful!
Also just a note because it's not as widely known as my main News feed, I have a followable list that's only Canadian news titles if that's of any interest, I find it helps cut through all the American news (I'm originally from Canada myself)!

Thanks for asking! 💚
I often tell people there's no canonical pronunciation because it's sort of a mutative form of Andrea so not to worry overlong about it, but I generally say it like "Ayndrah".

Amazing beverage: intended to taste like banana but ends up tasting like bubblegum so you psyop all your customers into thinking it takes like orange by using food colouring

I have no doubt you're going to do awesome things with Graze, looking forward to seeing what the future holds.

It depends on the implementation. There's already a client that allows emoji reactions but those are only visible with that client.
My intention with it is mainly inline custom emoji but there's definitely utility for other implementations.

I thought everyone landed on ATProto after the last time this came up, but perhaps language has evolved since, uh, December.

I'm not sure they're on here alas, I don't see a verified account I can add to the feed.

I had a "newsmedia" label built into XBlock for awhile but the error rate was too high, kept getting false positives for big walls of text. Might try to return that at some point.

This looks super cool, hadn't heard of it before 👀

Please do report false-negatives, sometimes my infrastructure gets knocked offline and misses them 🙏🏼
Honestly half of why XBlock exists is to label those, I hate them.

Those are already covered under the alt-right label.

Haha anyway tomorrow I'm in wall to wall meetings starting at 10 am and then have a post-work drinks and then have a catch-up for the org I'm advising and then have a D&D session to DM; pray for me.

My ability to enjoy this platform utterly flatlined after I got added to ~1k Starter Packs. People complain about the Discover feed as a conduit for awful repliers, but most of the ones I get already follow me. They click "follow all" on somet news-related SP and then are shocked when I talk tech.

I'd argue "not knowing how to use LinkedIn" is a sign of a true tech person tbh lol, I'm brutal with it, it's an awful platform.

Absolutely!
They really should do more with that concept, fertile ground for a spinoff series.

This wasn't it, but I totally figured it out — the Shadow DOM wasn't being lifted because I wasn't injecting the rendered HTML using Element.prototype.setHTMLUnsafe() 🎉
comment in response to

Yeah, I just switched to that but I'm still not seeing the DSD being lifted to shadowRoot

Yep! Even tried polyfilling attachInternals as per this issue, still no dice.

No, the SSR is intended to be done by a Lambda that generates the dehydrated DSD, which then gets rendered by the webserver.
comment in response to
post
I've been doing that the whole time, yet the DSD isn't available at customElement.prototype.shadowRoot when I try to access it in my tests, which is breaking everything. It might be some weirdness with Happy DOM, I'm not sure...

I'm working on a web component that dynamically imports a React app via ESM and renders it into the Shadow DOM. The goal is to encapsulate the app in Shadow DOM because the intention is to let privileged CMS users inject e.g. data visualisations into a page. DSD would help prevent CLS for that.

Ha I started watching that and got about 3 episodes into it before I broke up with the guy I was watching it with at the time. I should restart it, was really cool.

My use-case is I'm rendering the base HTML using DSD and dehydrated React, then trying to rehydrate the DSD as a React app in the Shadow DOM.
It is not going well.
