There's something so cool about seeing how sound designers come up with all the audio you hear in games or movies. The genuine creativity you need and a keen, open ear for new sounds. Then the ingenuity to transform that sound into the effects is and will always be fascinating.

I mean, at least they're kinda admitting they know Valorstones as they exist today are a problem. Buffing the drip rate only in raids really sucks though. The issue is there's no good way to just go farm them. Just give us a good reliable way to grind for them! Also, delete it, or raise the cap.

There's something so special about a new retail WoW patch. All the patch notes, blue posts, Blizz promo videos, dev interviews, & RWF guild event announcements. I feel like there's nothing else in gaming quite like the community hype that comes along with a new season/patch.

I like to think it's just coffee. I even bet the inside of the pot is all stained like that coworker who uses the same cup every day, but never washes it. So it's just got this buildup of that nasty-ass looking residue covering up the words "May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short."

My face hurts from smiling and blushing. Both teams RIO and Blizzard killed it here. Best interview I've seen from Morgan, ever and I've seen dozens and dozens of Morgan interviews. Hula is simply the best interviewer we have in the community and Katrina's excitement for this patch is infectious.

There's a growing perception with WoW players that they need everything and will complain if it's too long/hard of a grind. (Plunderstorm, M+ IO, etc) Long grinds are okay. Not having every item in game is okay. Working slowly towards a goal for the personal sense of accomplishment is good!

I'm devastated to report that Sandra Powers, 'Mania' to most Petopians, passed away from cancer on 25 January. Sandra was the power behind Petopia and creator of Warcraft Mounts. She's responsible for making Petopia what it has become. There's too much to say, so please see the image/alt text 🤍

I think I'm the only one who doesn't give two fucks about the love rocket mount. My life, inside and outside of the game, will happily continue without one mount that I'll never use. Granted mounts with this low drop % need to be obtained in something other than braindead AFK queued content.

Now that we have a release date, I'm curious as to what most people do first in a new patch zone. I like to go in blind, turn up all the in game sounds and check out the campaign story. I have a good feeling that this new patch is going to be worth a immersive playthrough.

Heads up: If you're playing TWW, but haven't turned the volume for the music to max then did a lap of all the zones to just take in the ✨vibes✨ you're playing WoW wrong. And don't even get me started to the ambiance of Hallowfall shifting to its void state with the soundtrack on.
