I'm here to post my thoughts on World of Warcraft. Mainly a casual achievement hunter & Blood Elf enjoyer on retail.

That's how I felt until I started really tweaking the engine. Also, when I started understanding the drift mechanic. Once I knew how and when to drift and use the boost to regain speed it feels great. But honestly, to each their own. The best part of the feature is it's not mandatory.

That's a great question that I don't think anyone's mentioned. Or if they did I never heard anything. If it's next week that's kinda a bummer that we can't check it out on anything harder than heroic. It's tough to get a feel for the dungeon when everything's dead in 5 sec and doesn't do damage.

I absolutely love this thumbnail. Amazing work as always.

Same. I'm hopeful it'll be a quick maintenance, but history isn't on our side with this.

That's brilliant. I think I'm gonna do this for the end of season 2.

Yooo, I thought about doing this, but bought silly hats instead. What did you get from all that? I bet selling all that on the AH would make a lot of gold when the RWF causes prices to go up.

I should point out that I base this on the better time zone that is Eastern Standard Time.

Once again proving that no matter the meta, the sheer number of Ret players will always overcome the complaints of not finding a group 😂 Already got lust and the right dispel? Fuck it, grab one of the 30 Rets in queue and hope a full group will attract a tank so we can play the game finally.

You can keep some defensives. Make them scale down in raid/pvp/m+ power. They are helpful for delves. But reducing the impact or the power of them and how many DPS have a ton will go a long way to smoothing out incoming damage so the healer has more time to react and agency over the content.

The mechanics need to shift the power of keeping you alive back to the healer. Not the DPS whose job is not to keep themselves alive, but unalive the target. If they wanted to focus the gameplay on keeping themselves alive they wouldn't be playing DPS in the first place.

When all the power in staying alive shifts from the healer to the DPS pressing a defensive, this eliminates the need for a healer. It also puts way more stress on the healer. If they can't external you, or have the right dispel, they can't do their job. No matter how good they are. Which feels bad

It's usually never just one mechanic hitting you hard. Say there's a curse debuff ticking some damage then you get hit by something as well. This means the DPS have to use a defensive, but if they don't and die it's the healers fault. Not the DPS that didn't press a button.

Couldn't have said it better than myself. Between this and the Max interview I've never had a bigger smile on my face during a dev interview before, let alone two in one week!

I totally get why some people play without music Sometimes when you're in an hour long farm and grind session you gotta throw on some hype shit Plus metal during raid prog goes hard with getting in the zone Music has incredible power to change your perspective. Not one sound will fit every mood

It's just refreshing to see people just passionate, making stuff and doing what they love. Especially in a world where almost every day we hear about corporate layoffs. Really reminds you to get out there and do what you Love. There isn't much time you have on this planet. Don't spend it miserable

It has! But I attribute that more to the end of the season and me not being motivated to complete it. I finished all my goals for the season so I'm not logging into retail on my main as much. Season of Discovery and leveling alts through timewalking are more fun. So I'm doing that instead.

Imaging if instead, you could solo it, but it's more difficult. With something like going up a 'delve level' increases it's drop chance up to like 25% at lvl 11. Or find a group similar to M+. Make it scale up to a +10 with drops including crests and a metric shit-ton of valorstones as well.

This being said, queueing up for an AFK, turn your brain off, everyone can kill and you can't fail, LFR "boss" fight for a low chance to drop a mount is horrible and has no place in games. Players shouldn't be given a "reward" for doing nothing. That's what feels bad about X-45.

Being unable do something that you can do anywhere else make a pretty good case for frustrating 😂
