I kinda sorta need to derust on PA because I haven’t seen it or even given it a second thought in almost a year but I’m helping my savage static prog and I still got it up to Wormhole, I think I’ve caused like 4 wipes our entire prog

JP release order’s generally the way to go, so Sky 1-3->Zero->Azure->Cold Steel 1-4->Reverie->Daybreak 1-2
You can start with Zero or Cold Steel 1 if you really want, they’re designed as entry points, but CS2 spoils Zero/Azure quite hard and CS3 assumes you’ve played all of the games before it

The idea of a game where you do regular park ranger or fire watch or whatever stuff while weird things go on in the background that increasingly reach the foreground sounds AWESOME and Firewatch playing with that idea a bit awoke me to how badly I want it

Yeah same, I like the message it sends. Very well done and it plays with player expectations in a good way, though I also understand why it’s controversial

Our MT and I have already cleared so prog's sped up a bit more since we almost never mess up and can give callouts/coach people, but I'm still very proud of the group. I think we can clear in a week or two, three weeks from now absolute tops; just depends how fast BJCC gets cleaned up

You can play 3/4 healers on the trial but you need to beat ARR to unlock one of them. You gotta own Endwalker to play the 4th healer
For every class in general, on the trial you’re locked out of:
Tanks: Gunbreaker
DPS: Dancer, Reaper, Viper, Pictomancer
Healer: Sage
Everything else is fair game

As long as you meet the requirements to unlock the job you can freely unlock and switch jobs in XIV. The requirements are just to be the same level as the job unlocks at (so you need to be lvl 50 on any combat job to unlock Samurai for example) and, for classes past Stormblood, own their expansion
