I made an outline for it. democraticshadowcabinet.com. The thing is, this has to be an organizing effort as much a PR effort.

There's a danger to this. Some consultant tried going solo back in the first Trump administration. Remember it? Probably not because without wide buy-in it's a futile endeavor. Here is my idea for how this could work: democraticshadowcabinet.com

I'd say that NOT having calls for your resignation is such a quality. However, calls for resignation seem to be very common these days.

You cannot rely on the same tactic over and over.

Do you know of any study out there that measures "good government" outcomes after RCV elections? Looking at Minneapolis and, of course, New York.

A danger in these kinds of lists the fact that while each company listed is, indeed, not Amazon, some of them have their own problems.

Sadly, there is no "the public." There are only organizations. And right now the only organization that is theoretically big enough is @thedemocraticparty.bsky.social . I have yet to see them organize.

But the gesture is the same. Here is solid, genuine, and uncompromising opposition.

So, we know that such a cabinet cannot be here what it is in the UK. This has to be a messaging vehicle more than an accountability vehicle.
The DNC has the ability to set up, at the very least, a speakers bureau. Whether it's organizationally couched as a cabinet means little.

I think that's exactly why it isn't so dumb. There's a way to use the creation of such a cabinet as an organizing activity, part of a larger strategy, and not an end in and of itself.

This is a youthful tactic, but in what greater strategy would it be wound up in?

I don't think the cabinet needs to be electeds.
