Ya don't say? "Not being OK" is just Monday. There's still trash to take out. World's on fire. It's only going to get worse so we all may as well strap in.

It would be a shame if millions of us spammed this address with gay porn, the bee movie script, or fed it into online spam email generators. A damn shame.

If you like #rpgs we've been recording discussions and #actualplays for ModernMythology.net New episode coming soon.

A podcast on memetics, myth and propaganda: how our narratives define the limits of our political and personal identity, how any era of civilization may be consigned to myth just as it was defined by it. (On all major podcast platforms or RSS or direct download) Jamescurcio.com/narrative-machines

I had a woman who took all my kids’ books about pride off display and threw them in the book drop. Joke’s on her. Any time you throw something in the book drop or hide something, we have to scan it back in. That’s a circ, which means they’re more likely to order more copies.

I'm looking forward to being over this flu enough that I'm able to do something other than social media or half-watch shows. (The first 5 days I couldn't even do that). Watching the world fall apart ever more quickly when you're sick as hell isn't fun.

By comparing Bowie’s calculated use of artifice to the rise of modern performative figures like Donald Trump and phenomena like Reality TV and the kayfabe of pro wrestling, we explore how spectacle, mythmaking, and image construction shape public narratives in both art and politics.

youtu.be/hGQu4_fan8Q?... Time to take my mind off the many centuries long hellscape we're creating for no good reason.
