Your dad is a hero. Our son had surgery for sagittal craniosynostosis, so we have a lot of love for pediatric neurosurgeons.

Real. I logged into the Dua presale 15 minutes late and barely got a single seated ticket. GA was already gone.

Fortunately, his two best friends are quite kind and their parents are tuned into what's going on. It was one of the other boy's moms that alerted us to what some of the other boys were saying, and she's already approached their teacher.

That's amazing. I admire people that have this ability.

It would be so great for workplace culture.

Ha ha ha ha. Amazing. Shows sell out in 15 minutes when a popular artist comes to Prague (which is never...).

I need more vacation, though. Or, I need a job that pays me for yapping online. πŸ˜‚

When I listen to the lyrics, I start crying because I've always been that person that tries to make friends and ends up being pushed to the side, and that song just hits me in those feels. πŸ˜…

I worked for an amazing company back in Canada, and we got 34 days + state holidays + days in lieu when a holiday fell on the weekend. Plus it was employee-owned, so we got quarterly profit share bonuses. I miss it a lot. 😭

live* State minimum is 4 weeks, though. My company gives us an extra week.

20 days plus state holidays that fall on weekdays. If a state holiday falls on the weekend, we don't get that day off in lieu. I love in πŸ‡¨πŸ‡Ώ.

Interesting. I will have a look and maybe do some research that involves going for beers in other spots. πŸ˜‚

Wait who thinks it's a happy song?! It's so freaking sad.

I had read about this a bit. Situation is similar in Poland, and I recall @katiejgln.bsky.social writing about this exact topic. I also worry about my son as he gets older. He already has classmates that use very misogynistic language in their group chats, and it's hard to combat peer pressure.

I've never considered that, actually. We usually go to the same hospoda nearby, so maybe they're the culprit.

Oh, that's good! Then we will get new-ish music this year. Yay!

I am wondering if they use a preservative that I'm allergic to, or something.

It seems to hit with beer. Gambrinus was a known problem for me, but I had a pint of Radegast and the same happened.

I love how unimpressed he looks. He's the best.

Am watching closely next door. We have an election this year and the far-right is predicted to win. In Canada, it's the same. The same brain-rotting virus is the new pandemic, it seems.

Whoa. Yes. Takes me back.

Oh, I see. I do the same for Czech and the grammar is often a bit strange. Google chooses very formal language where it isn't required.

Not even native speakers speak perfect English, so don't worry about making mistakes. Your English is already amazing. 🫢🏻
