In my world, “the talk” is what Black parents have w/our kids, about how to survive an encounter w/police who see them as a threat because of our skin color. Latino families have their talk, w/kids even younger, about ICE who see them as criminals: “If we disappear…” Different fear. Same America.

BlueSky's algo seems to be better than that other place's. There, if I call nazi "a suppurating boil on the pissflaps of humanity" it thinks "Oh, you want more nazi content". Here it thinks "You've followed a lot of cats. You want more cat content. Here [literally armfuls of cats]."
