At least Mamdani is in favor of further reducing parking minimums and wants building code changes like single stair reform. He’s also spoken in favor of FBAHA and Cozy, But agreed - his housing policy is wanting

Ironically - Cuomo reduced the amount of psychiatric beds in new york. But I take your point

Does he have the authority to accumulate this debt? Or would this require state approval

Yea I get it, if you haven’t voted yet here is an endorsement list of candidates from an org I like. They have Zohran at 5 voterguide.abundanceny.org?utm_source=h...

I get the skepticism and I’m ranking him 5th. Part of what won me over is interviews like this. If you listen around the 20th minute he gets some direct questions about anti semitism: youtu.be/rqVQlALRqaE?.... It’s important for him to talk about this given his bad statement after oct 7th

Something I am trying to accept: just because I care about detailed policy and accuracy doesn't mean its not good politics. To win, you need a base that is far past the nerds (like me).

IMO: expand fair fares, make it a lot easier to sign up, make bus improvements is the way to go. I do think that Zohran's ability to get attention and buy-in on things like this means its good politics regardless of the policy merit.

He has a point on *some* of these people. But Cruz ain't it. He's an OG tea partier

I found this starter pack (which is how I found you lol) bsky.app/starter-pack...

Yea - I don't plan on going back to Twitter but the lack of international news on this site + sports here is making feel like I need both. Unfortunate but I will add these people to a list.

The Zohran social clapback to this is gonna be great
comment in response to post
It does, but agreed voters don't care about that. (see Adams, Deblasio, Cuomo leading)

Embarassing

Yea this would be the fair critique - robot cars alone are fine. But they should NOT disincentivize public transit
comment in response to post
Robot cars are fine and even safer than most human drivers. Damaging unrelated property is always bad.

Hopefully the Dem Party can get some takeaways from your run. Think you ran a great campaign and hope this isn't your last forray into politics. Honestly - depending on how NYC mayor goes, I think you should try to run for it in 2029

Is the belief that she is saying things like TOD as lip service? She is not Fulop tier but this is the correct thing to say: x.com/MikieSherril...

Apparently San Francisco does something similiar (although i just learned about it today). But having lived in Germany, this is their approach. the fee was quite steep.
comment in response to post
Or you do roaming conductors that give you a high fee. You just have to make it common enough to be a threat to increase compliance. I'd also say expand the fair fares program above the federal povery line (way too low)
comment in response to post
Chris - on your show can you please list an endorsement slate or interview some of the candidates? We can't let this ghoul back in office.
