The fourth and final novella, “The Case of the Irate Witness,” appeared only in Collier’s Magazine and was probably not written by Gardner. I’ve never heard of “Wanted Witness.”

Have we covered the "generation gap" as it pertains to parents and children? The absent fathers in 3rd G and H'Party, mothers in Bertram's and The Clocks, the Bad Son that was Michael Rogers, the tragedy of Margot Bence, etc. Is any of this filtered differently through the 60's lens in these books?
