… I oscillate between feeling the need to speak out, worrying @ the consequences of doing so, & then worrying @ the consequences of not doing so. But not doing so is in itself a privilege. In our world, no one gets to choose to be apolitical, for silence is a political choice that speaks volumes.

I also believe that the electoral college is the rotten foundation from which all other rot flows: Citizens United, stripping of women’s rights/ civil liberties, gerrymandering, gun reform, voting rights etc. No one wants to talk @ changing how the game is played, but the game is rotten to the core.

Funny that POTUS has very little ability to lower the price of eggs. He could, however, exacerbate the problem by: 1) firing health/science experts dealing w/ bird flu 2) tariff the shit out of everything, thereby tanking the economy.
