I had an absolute ball playing a first session of the #TriangleAgency #TTRPG yesterday. It very much feels like a toned down version of Paranoia, where as a player you have a vague idea of what you should be doing, but you're not certain, and you have some personal goals on the side.

Guides ruin gaming for a lot of genres. The problem solving you're doing is the game. It's what's fun and exciting about it, and without it, you might as well just read a book. Which is also good. Just different good.

Are you also suffering under "I have no time to play TTRPG's and neither do my friends"? Just ask 10 people if they have anything to do on monday nights. If they don't have kids, it's pretty likely that at least 4 of them will say "No not really". Host it at someone's house, one person cooks.
