Cool! I wish I knew about it, I would have taken some time off for it.

Man, I love your page design. Is that what it's called? Personally I'd vote for layout wizardry.

I live in the Netherlands, and I don't even feel a need to own a car. Anything under 10km I can bike, anything over that I can bike too, I probably just have to bike to a train station, and then bike from a train station. It's great.

I think I've read this visual novel.

So much of it is generic power fantasy slop, I can't stand it either. Every season I hope they invest their time into something more interesting, and most seasons I'm severely disappointed. Oh btw wait til you learn about cozy fantasy isekai shows. They exist.

Have fun! From what I read so far, this'll be a blast. Pun intended.

I'm also very curious as to what the GM doesn't know: The book has a "Playwalled" section. Information that is revealed like you would in a choose your own adventure game. This way, the surprises don't just come from your GM and players, but also from the actual book. Fascinating!

There's far less conflict between players here. There's rules for it, but it doesn't feel like it's as encouraged in Paranoia. Which is nice, especially cause I'm playing it with people I did not know. I do still very much wonder what the GM knows that we don't.

This looks super cool! I've been toying with making something like this for a while, so I'm glad someone else is doing it ;)

Real take: What we're experiencing is the straight male version of "I can fix him"

That might be more of a module issue then? I like to fast forward characters into danger, whether it's the monster or quite often something environmental.

Based on what you wrote I think you probably shouldn't throw in repeated combat (I think it's one of the weaker parts of the system) and instead find more ways to trigger non-combat rolls. One thing I find quite tricky is figuring out when to make people do panic rolls.

I too need an app that reminds me every day of how much money I have spent on serverless functions...

What's it like running a game for that many people? Did the system help or more work against this amount of players?

which is honestly a shame cause the manga is just really good.

What do you think the biggest roadblock was? I noticed that for me it really differs on how experienced my players are (with unexperienced players it has a tendency to more float towards thriller for me)

If you don't mind, I'm definitely stealing this.

When people have nothing to give a fuck about, they have to get rid of their fucks somewhere I guess?

Easy, make yourself a datable NPC, and have all the other NPC romances end in horror. DDLC yourself out of the situation.

It definitely is hard. Recently I kind of had a realization that people aren't looking to be friends with people who are interesting, but with people who are interested in them. But I think the structure of social media (bsky included) makes actually acting on that a lot harder.
