And that is a huge problem for me. I don’t have, by design, any extra money lying around to send and if we can make a fuss without funding then they definitely can. I’m sent text after text asking how I feel but I can’t answer b/c all it is, is a plea for more money.

Agree, but allow me, if you will, it is the fault of the Democratic Party, albeit indirectly. Of course the ones you speak of who will blame the Dems may not be aware of this nuance it does have a great deal to do with them, they are rudderless and have been largely ineffective. We need to do better

Just once? One must try more to determine a pattern don’t you think? I don’t know. It just seems that we waste a lot of money and then space for things that are used so rarely. Maybe a lawn mower was not a great idea but one uses it more often than a snow blower, I should think. IDK.
