Honestly I bought it almost a year ago and can’t quite remember if I refunded it or not. At the time, the physics and stage design weren’t doing it for me. I think it’s received some updates since then, though!

Thinking about it more, I feel like the actual right answer here, which I did not get at in that Jalopnik blog from years ago, is that the "Gen 2" should really be called a Gen 1.5, and so on. I mean, that's what Porsche and Volkswagen do, and everyone can wrap their heads around it

Remember when consoles used to get cheaper over time

I had a Sonicare for a while and I liked it a lot, but I guess my hard brushing kinked the mechanism that rotates the head and it broke. I’ve been Oral-B since then. And the simple ones, nothing expensive.

I thought it was supposed to be something like that at first! But then I searched and other variations don’t have that.

The Quip is a fascinating product. I bought one, only to learn that its motor isn't intended to improve brushing at all—it's just there as a timer. Which a beep or light would suffice for. And even then, the mechanism that vibrates the neck broke in like a month 🤣 Never again!

Also Sega Retro appears to be down right now which means there isn’t a single website on the internet that can tell you the names of the six or so characters in OutRun 2/2006. It’s not even in the manual for 2006. Think about that. Think about how little the world must care about that information 😂

Either way I did not know about this! That’s wild. Also very Weezer to continue playing for no good reason

I do think the refresh is a step in the right direction. I never had a problem with Bangle butts back in the day but IMO this execution just doesn't work on this car, feels like something else crashed into the back of it. Overall I still think the Ioniq 6 should've been closer to the Prophecy.

The moment the Dodgers set foot in Donald Trump's White House, they are conceding they really don't care that much about Jackie Robinson after all. They might as well unretire his number. Cancel the commemorative ceremony. Spare us the performative bullshit.

It’s a strange one. It’s clear Criterion was never content doing the same thing twice, but Revenge was a bit of an overcorrection. The traffic checking made you feel too powerful. And the crash mode was too busy for its own good. Paradise was a more legitimate and justified evolution on 3, IMO.
