My neighbour down the road has home-made nesting boxes under her eaves and the spotted pardalotes were happily nesting there.
I had ground nests either side of the house last season - one in a pile of garden soil i needed! The other in a drain 🙄
Boxes are close to those nests 🤞

As i mentioned elsewhere, judging by the deportment of the military at the birthday parade, if he stuffs this up he will have a mutiny on his hands.
Pretty sure many many military noses are well out of joint already. And i bet Hegsath has made a total ass of himself in the job.

I just put up two nesting boxes for spotted pardalotes, with last year’s nest material inside. I hope that works. I saw one checking out the Gould’s wattled bat box though. 🙄
