Now, I’m no yacht- combustion denier but the idea that yachts catch fire due to “human activity” is absurd. Everyone knows yachts go through cycles of warming and cooling. No arson needed.

I get your point but, surprisingly, the vast majority of South, Central and North Americans outside of the U.S. don’t identify with the labels given to them by colonizers so maybe we should just call our respective nations what we like and leave western names for continents out of the conversation.
