This man, a United States citizen, was maced at close range by an attacker. He was unable to see as he swiped his hand over his face, incidentally touching the attacker. The attackers then threw him to the street with force and held him in a prone position resulting in the victim having a seizure.

A few folks have DM’d me abt the Frederick Douglass passage I excerpted at the rally. Here it is: “Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; 1/

This story will definitely make you cry. Sweet pup Gilbert was killed with his humans, and now is being honored and remembered next to them at the Minnesota state capital. The family’s request: go pet a dog, preferably a Golden, but any dog will do. Rest well, Gilbert. You were the best boy. 💙

There should be no confusion. If one is screening grants in violation of the federal court order, they are breaking the law as it is currently interpreted. Law supersedes policy. The NSF has a document on this (nsf-gov-resources.nsf.gov/files/Resear...) & I presume NIH does too.

I agree: the magnitude of this depravity is almost beyond words. But here are some.... The people who are doing these things have good reason to hide their faces. Who would ever want to show their faces to anyone after doing this to children?

The Supreme Court is about to go on an extended summer vacation, after having blown up the docket of every single lower court judge who has been working like a dog to deal with the firehose of illegal orders coming out of this administration.

A good explainer on how Medicaid cuts will affect all pediatric care. It will also gut rural hospitals. Here in Kentucky, 35 hospitals are likely to close if this bill passes, and contrary to what Mitch says, we won’t get over it.
