Oh my gosh, yes. It came with our first PC. "What's this?" We lost days exploring. No guide, no Google. Stuck? Oh, well. It was glorious. And we loved Riven even more. Why it was never a movie dumbfounds me.

I could imagine your tales as an animated series with your delightfully dark narration and am now sad it does not exist. Yet.

My favorite phone ever was a Nokia 6800. It had a split keyboard w/ THE best buttons. No better phone for texting. ð My 'current' phone (26GB Galaxy S7!) is held together w/ scotch tape & hope. Time to turn in the cups and string, I guess.

I love that vibe. Other faves from that time:
In the Line of Fire
The Net
The Pelican Brief
An older one I still love is Blow Out w/ John Travolta.

I'm so sorry. ð The second they ask for money, the reveal their true intentions. You were right to be suspicious.

THIS is what I was congratulating you on earlier, but since you hadn't mentioned it yet, I didn't want to spoil it if you didn't already know. ð So, congrats again. Best of luck.

I left without a word after he bought the place. I figured anyone who'd still want to follow me would migrate over.

I miss the days when iTunes had an mp3 encoder so you could burn a playlist onto a CDR. Now all my M4A files sit uselessly on an old external drive. I use Amazon & Bandcamp.

That sounds terrifying. You could have been Gen-napped. We need to get you a camera for your door with a motion sensor that triggers a Rottweiler bark. Or something.

LOVE Contact. Whenever it happens to be on I end up watching it despite owning the DVD.
