Waiting for it to hit Juneau.

You know it! One of the coldest wettest springs I can remember. Although it might just be my mood about everything else these days.

Hence why I’m Ak-prole. It is up to us to rise up, the party controls everything else.

Feels so insufficient with so much wrong right now. Still trying. But maybe with a few million of us we can help. Trying not to lose hope.

Making the US great again. Right back to the 1950s McCarthy times.

Is that the earliest ever? And so much left undone.

Last time the US made any real progress in civil rights was under LBJ.

Be very careful bashing immigrants. There are other factors in play. You only need to look south to see the damage that causes. You too could become the hateful US. Unless you’re a bot. If so, you need reprogramming. Kindness matters.

Although didn’t the Senate majority say they would not call a special session?? Can they wait until January? My understanding of the rules is hazy…

And we do need reform of the BSA. The formula is outdated. Real thought needs to be put on how to best allocate school funds and this formula needs fixing. But that is really HARD work. And yes, needs all legislators to work together not just majority rules. #akleg

And that makes the Governor’s power way too strong. Nearly impossible to reach 3/4. And almost everything of value these days costs money.

The presentation last week by DEED was the most outrageous, vindictive, inaccurate, well - you get the idea. This administration wants to penalize the schools. They want to destroy public education. Plain and simple. I believe even if #Akleg gave the Gov everything he asked for he’d still veto.

There are distracted bikers, novice bikers, bikers riding 2 abreast in the traffic lanes, etc. a slip or blowout can happen. I go around out of courtesy as if anything happens on their end, I could really harm them. I’ve seen kids hit. Hope that makes sense we don’t know if they are experienced.

No, let everyone see her for what she is. And let the far righters fight it out as to who can sink lower….

Please bring warm, dry weather to SE. Awful spring so far. Can we get over 50 please?

Congratulations to the #akgop on destroying schools. I’ve yet to hear anyone in Congress care what the #akleg thinks or wants in instances like this and your right-wing colleagues don’t care about Alaska schools.

As my mother used to say, lies are lies. Lies of omission, are just as wrong as outright falsehoods. There used to be a moral argument against this. And often a religious one. No longer.

Nothing is private anymore really. Now that DOGE has access to all the data they are quickly amassing a database. The survey data once protected is no more. Dunleavy and T Taylor will hand it over. Doubt that even our legislators can stop this even if they wanted to. But keep calling.

A comic newspaper if memory serves….popular in the 80’s and 90’s I think. Local humor.

There is now no privacy from the US government. All of a sudden I’ve become afraid of my own government since DOGE has all of the IRS data and Department of Health has all our other data. So easy to target people and groups. People aren’t talking enough about this. And AI can analyze it fast.

That X thread is also ironically a really clear example of malinformation, as described in the very presentation they're referring to.

There used to be a Juneau What. Maybe curious Juneau should research that.

There aren’t any moderates. You either like what’s going on or you don’t.You are either for a government that follows the law or not. As a former moderate I’m f#ing mad. I want smart, aggressive, non apologetic, honest people willing to stand up to the BS. The media is lying about moderates. No grey
