Fun fact: the name Dolphin is a community name, the brand doesn't have an official name so we just assumed based on the logo and suffix "D"

Also you should mention how jankily gravity applies or not to the special. I'd be happy to help with my technical knowledge, although it isn't a super researched special. (2/2)

Splatoon draws lines (raycasts) to decide if you should be hit by an explosion. Sadly we've yet to datamine exactly how they work, but in the case of reefslider they appear to all originate from the bottom of the shark, that's why even slopes can very easy let you survive right next to it. (1/2)

The problem for all of these (including why chumps doesn't jump you) is you can easily place a jump point out of bounds, or at least a place not easily reachable that'd be absolutely busted.

What would be your best advice to a Splatoon content creator who wants to build up an audience that's specific to our community?

Oops I realized I left my debug in, the selector should just be *.mkv (or whatever format you use)

You can easily do that with ffmpeg (ffmpeg.org). This command will convert every mkv file in your current folder to a clip folder, ready for upload. (DMs open)
for %i in (*18-18-51.mkv) do ffmpeg -i "%i" -ss 00:00:00 -t 00:01:00 -vf "crop='in_h*9/16:in_h'" "clip/%~ni_clip.mp4"
