I get q's whenever I visit my old hometown in Alabama. "You live in Brooklyn? Are you safe?" The violent crime rate in Mobile is usually 3x higher. I turn the question back on the asker and get blank looks. Fear of cities is just media/politician-induced delusion and bigotry, nothing rational.

ICE has only existed since 2003. A Bush-era creation, it is a militarized federal secret police that has been imbued with the Supreme Court with the unconstitutional power to ignore the fourth amendment. Abolishing it and salting the earth where it grew is the moderate stance.

There are ZERO riots. I am in downtown Los Angeles. There are live feeds of everything that was here and what went down in Paramount. Dudes on mini bikes making noise and people holding Fuck Ice signs etc. But no violence from protesters. None. Cannot say the same about the opposition.
