AKMA is a priest, lecturer (New Test., Greek, Early Church, Crit Theory), writer, gamer; Glasgow, Oxford, now parish ministry in Abingdon-on-Thames. Will not try [in vain?] to take away the pain of being a hopeless unbeliever.

Aye, but 28 *is* young (not in a deprecatory way, but as in an 'ad multos annos' way)

Is there a way of mispronouncing 'Cuomo' that sounds like 'sexual predator'?

'Franklin W. Dixon' (the Hardy Boys) (at one point I had an almost complete set)
She Who Shall Not Be Named
J R R Tolkien
C S Lewis
Beverly Cleary
Edward Eager
Joan Aiken
Madeleine L'Engle

On behalf of my daughter-in-law and of the Black church, it’s not American Baptists who are the problem, nor (I think it’s called) the Alliance of Baptists, but you’re talking strictly about the Southern Baptist Convention…

Minke gets choosy and disdains kibble sometimes, so we do the same thing only with her dog treats. Occasionally she noses the kibble/treat mix around to isolate and eat only the treat bits, but more often she grudgingly takes the kibble with the treat.
