Thera are vaccines for yellow fever and dengue fever (for dengue, they are recent, with no production in the escale needed. Brazil has been prioritizing some vulnerable groups so far)

Kruschev once talked about a world where the living would envy the dead. Just to think about.

Oh, don't worry, the Pax Armada have always worked fine, we know that from the early 1900's. The funny thing there is that Europeans really believe that Nato is is stil a thing.

There is optimism there that the West is learning something. I fear it is not learning anything but the wrong lessons (ex: Merz). But hope you're right.

The Beltway elite simply don't care about civilian toll, they will deliver collapse and chaos to Iran (regime change means that). It is awful to think that iranians will have to deal with west/israel bombs and a regime even more radical and violent. What a tragedy.

And that's exactly what we're seeing, the future. It's been normalized now, then will set in.

Company builder.....LOL. The guy pretty much sells land on Mars, and gets tons of market value for it. In that sense, yeah, he is a genius. And the rest of Silicon Valley is not far from that at all.

It is depressing to see how many people here defending the "right to laugh", or something like that. We're not far from the current US at all. Likely one election away, to be more precise.

Especial demais. Só que não é. Faz tempo que o homem se superestima.

And by the way, it is only possible to speak of meaningful democracy in the US from the Civil Rights laws from the 60's on, it doesn't matter how old your Constituition is. The time for awakening (or not) is here.

You've never been any of that, with awful interventions causing havoc everywhere. From United Fruit to Baghdad, a lot happened, not only WWII. You always sided with dictators when suitable, from Suharto to Pinochet to the apartheid regime. Yeah, it were all myths, who could tell.

Aceitem nossas demandas e ponto final. Lula e Celso Amorim tinham, têm e terão zero influência nisso. Não é tempo pra fantasias.

And Rennie, i don't say that out of foolish antiamericanism. It is just the fact the things are getting real bad, it is not good to see that. And a stark reality is showing. Enough with mythologies, while you have time, if you stil have time

There must be tons of books, god only knows how many hours of movies about it. But have you checked social mobility in The US? The judicial system? In the post war period, huge econ expansion allowed white people buy homes and stuff, it seemed real. But even that is gone, from Reagan on.

God, will you ever stop with this American Dream crap? There is no such thing, there never was such thing. The artist needs decency, basic respect, morals, rule of law. He deserves a shot at those things, not some lunacy that makes you feel special.

Look, time to be realistic. Democrats won't do anything about this. By the way, I believe they (including Obama, the speech guy) built some of these concentration camps, they hired and trained these agents....etc. This nightmare didn't start with Trump.
