Backstory: Colton Cowser said a spring training fishing trip when a bait shrimp jumped out of his hand and he needed to corral it off the deck. “I’m not afraid of shrimp, by the way,” Cowser said.

My Morning Glory Milking Farm Libby hold FINALLY became available. Heard about this book several years ago because of its bonkers premise, and knew people enjoyed it, but didn’t realize until joining the Romance sub that people also think it’s super wholesome and well written.

that replay review call in the Padres/Giants game is one of the worst I’ve ever seen holy shit.

The fact that the Tigers have scored 10 runs on the White Sox through 6 innings really puts our sweep in perspective. We did not score 10 runs on them in 3 games. Hopefully having guys start coming off of the IL will kick our offense into gear.

important information

Wooo. So glad we have a real outfielder back! (And our biggest vibes guy!!) Mooooo!!!

Would like to know where the little mousie cat toy sitting on my front step when I got home came from. Who delivered us a mousie, and why?

Apparently the world decided that I need easy access to the ingredients for making caprese since a bajillion little basil plants have come up in one of my tomato plants since the last time I watered them. (Haven’t needed to bc so much rain.)

Just found out about the antisemitic terrorist attack in Boulder and good dear fucking lord the responses to it are absolutely insane. It is okay to acknowledge that someone throwing Molotov cocktails at a peaceful march that included a Holocaust survivor is bad!!!

Geeking out because I finally got up the nerve to make a book request post in the Romance Books subreddit, and mentioned a specific book as an example, and a few minutes later the author popped in saying (paraphrased)“I don’t usually come into reader spaces but I HAD to recommend this book to you”.

Orioles have the second most players on the IL total but they are actually 18/30 when it comes to pitchers. We have 5 pitchers on the IL compared to the Dodgers 15.

at what point do things move from “bad luck” to “this is an organizational developmental problem that needs to be rectified”? Looking at you too Rays. (Where two of these 15 pitchers played for the majority of their career.)

oof, not good. You can see him say “it’s dead” again as he’s walking back to the dugout on the verge of tears. And then he waves bye to the crowd.
