National call this Sunday to strategize with Indivisible, MoveOn, WFP, and a ton of other groups. We choose to fight. www.mobilize.us/indivisible/...

Save the nihilism nonsense. There's nothing ridiculous to vote for even a rock if it can win against fascists.
We can criticize democratic party without wanting people to keep suffering under republican rule.
If these 11 days are bad, 4 years would be far worse. Republicans need to keep losing.

Even if we don't care about the people, which a society is supposed to care about, a healthy populace is a necessary foundation for a strong and healthy country. If we don't have a healthy populace, we will not have the strong labor force that America needs.

I don’t think anyone actually believed he wouldn’t implement Project 2025. The truth of the matter is: not enough people cared. People voted for this. People are happy about this. People are dumb.

That guy who posted about how his wife's job is imperriled is literally blaming the VA for this, he is saying it's the VA's fault that Trump is doing it.
This is how deep their brain is in Trump's butt and why appealing to them is pointless, they have abandoned reality.

The question is do you think America can recover?
Right now they seem to want to destroy everything just so they can get their 'cheap egg', and then they get more expensive eggs instead.

"This gulf between reality and perception shows that it’s not enough to simply tell the truth, nor is it enough to sell a policy product like a carbon tax once. The sale has to be made again and again until it becomes part of the sociopolitical landscape."

"According to a government report for 2021, the average household rebate in the provinces where the federal tax applied exceeded the average carbon cost by C$249. But in a recent poll, only 14% of those polled believed their rebates exceeded their carbon tax costs, while 54% felt they came up short"

I'm not seeing any leftist candidates running or winning in any republican primaries either, for a good reason. Republican voters want terrible policies... :/

Isn't it already trying it our way that we have these primary candidates? Even Bernie lost and he's hardly left.
If we can't even win the primary, the general w/ FPTP is far worse.
They just vote the standard experienced Democrats, while Republicans does the same or for the worst kind of people.

I feel like 'leftist candidates' not winning in either primaries are kinda indicators that most of the masses don't care for 'the workers'.
Too many people just want whatever benefit them, like tax cuts, even if it means voting for fascists. :/
