Paramedics have been pushed to breaking point. It’s leading to a huge levels of staff absences, making it tougher for people to get the life-saving treatment they need.

The Liberal Democrats are winning all over the Highlands. More and more people are switching to us because they see that we are focused on the issues that matter and they know that we are best placed to beat the SNP.

A great honour to join Sir David Steel in Selkirk tonight on the 60th anniversary of his his historic Liberal by-election victory in Roxburgh, Selkirk and Peebles.

Elbows up, Canada.

Next month I’ll be joining a convoy delivering 5 ambulances from London to Ukraine. Through Europe nonstop, overland and overnight. If you want to support us, you can do so through the link below. The armed forces of Ukraine are the firebreak between tyranny and the free democracies of the west.

New research shows that there have been over 24,000 violent incidents reported in Scotland's schools so far this school year. Pupils shouldn’t be going to school afraid. Teachers deserve to know this government has their back.

Delayed ferries, over budget, painted on windows, a leaking hull, the short cables, cheaper to scrap and start again. Yet not one SNP minister has resigned as a result of this series of catastrophes over many years.

An impassioned and thought provoking discussion with Edinburgh LibDem students and Ukrainian students tonight on UK support for Ukraine and where we go from here. 🔶🇺🇦🇬🇧

Great to host Scottish Lib Dem leader @alex.scotlibdems.org.uk alongside the Ukrainian Society! A very interesting conversation on how our we can support Ukraine and safeguard freedom and security across the world.

Speaking as a British Canadian citizen (my mum is from BC) I thought it outrageous Mark Carney had to do a solo presser without Starmer tonight. 🇬🇧🇨🇦

Join us on the Tuesday 18th March for a conversation with the Scottish Liberal Democrat leader on Ukraine.

Unexpected beer-garden joy. In Scotland. In March. ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿☀️

Watch this one… 🔶🔶🔶

Such a great launch for @adamharley.bsky.social’s campaign to become the next MSP for Strathkelvin and Bearsden. After Susan Murray’s victory in July he’s got a great chance to be their next MSP

We are proud to announce that our MSP candidate for Strathkelvin and Bearsden is Adam Harley! At the next election voters will have a choice, a hardworking local champion in Adam Harley or more of the same with the SNP.

While the scale of the job losses at Dundee are huge, this has not come as a bolt from the blue. The Government had plenty of warning that cuts were coming. We need progress on an urgent review of funding arrangements before other universities join Dundee in making steep cuts.

Cracking support for Sanne on the doors of Trinity, Edinburgh Northern on the road to Holyrood 2026 🔶🔶🔶

Fond memories of the Fast Show’s ‘Swiss Toni’ after Trump’s Tesla infomercial at the Whitehouse yesterday.

For years under the SNP our A&E departments have been left mired in crisis and it's leading to staff burning out. We cannot fix these A&E waits without fixing the problems in social care to create the capacity needed to get people seen on time.

More than ever, this Commonwealth Day Britain must stand with our Commonwealth partners and allies. The Prime Minister should visit Ottawa to meet Canada’s new leader, Mark Carney, and show support as Canada faces growing threats to its sovereignty and economy.

Great night out on the doors of Winchburgh for Oliver Ferrario, our Lib Dem candidate in Thursday’s by-election 🔶🔶🔶🔶

Great to be back out in South Gyle with Cllr Ed Thornley, a local hero to our constituents. 🔶🔶🔶

A Russian Spy ring and a suspended Reform MP. I’ll bet you all the money in my pocket that Great Yarmouth has not featured in the TOP TWO (unrelated) stories on sky news before.

As we mark 5 years since the arrival of COVID19 on our shores, I was grateful to have the opportunity to join other party leaders in marking this anniversary in the Scottish Parliament.

“President Putin's Russia violates our borders to assassinate opponents, manipulates elections…organises cyber attacks .. attempts to manipulate our opinions with lies published on social media & ..is testing our limits..in the air, at sea, in space & on our screens” Emmanuel Macron

Following the suspension of US military aid and intelligence to Ukraine, it feels as if America could be on verge of a historic betrayal of Ukraine. The UK must now seize the billions in frozen Russian assets and use them to support Ukraine.

Nothing that Donald Trump has said or done has put any pressure on Vladimir Putin at all. Donald Trump is not a reliable ally with respect to Russia. As a result, we now have to look at how we construct a stronger alliance with our European colleagues.

‘Thank you for your attention on this matter.’ Is how my local council closes out letters advising of bin collection changes. Good to see it’s also useful to newly elected dictators in the suppression of free speech.

President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine are heroes. They deserve the steadfast support of the free world. With the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine overnight, the UK must now seize the billions in frozen Russian assets and use them to support Ukraine.

Starting to treasure mornings in the UK. While America sleeps it’s a chance for the rest of us to clear up the rubble of the night before, until chaos wakes up and comes at us once again. Only 3.8yrs to go.

This is more bad news for islanders. No matter where the ferries are coming from there seem to be delays. Ministers should set out whether taxpayers get any money back if there are delays to the delivery of these boats.

The US is no longer a reliable ally or credible international broker. This will be remembered as a day of infamy.

It’s so clear - this was never about whether Zelensky wore a suit. Trump and Farage are angry Ukraine dared to stand up to Putin in the first place and won’t surrender to him now.

Watching Farage lose the dressing room in real time is a silver lining in otherwise gloomy days.

Such an important photo. Wild to think that these coming weeks could yet prove the most consequential of King Charles’ life.

Mike Myers, Canadian legend, on SNL tonight.

‘Don’t underestimate Donald, he’s 10 moves ahead of everyone’ Says the guy who literally told people to inject bleach into their lungs to cure covid.

Remember when Truss said the jury was out on whether Macron was friend or foe? 🤯

Crowds cheering Zelensky to the rooftops as he was driven into Downing Street. Hard to think of a time I’ve been prouder of my country. 🇬🇧

The Ukrainian flag represents the blue sky over fields of Ukrainian wheat. It has a deeper meaning though. One which should give pause to anyone who thinks they will capitulate to Russian aggression. ‘Freedom above bread.’ Glory to Ukraine. 🇺🇦

When you think you’re on the populist right and you lose The Mail, it’s probably time you took yourself aside.

Trump is not America. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes. 🇺🇦

Last night the long peace underwritten by America for 80 years was wholly undermined by an act of thuggery in the most important office in the world. Trump and Vance are a disgrace. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes. 🇺🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
