This was not an ICE raid, but it shows the state we are as a country right now. The government allowing ICE to operate without warrants as a state-sponsored kidnapping force has made us furious and suspicious of anyone in law enforcement, and they in return are growing more violent against citizens.

The infuriating thing about this book is now I have to go tell everyone to read it. I'm going to be that guy at the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers — running out into traffic, trying to tell passing drivers that the best science fiction novel this year is about Star Wars and it deserves a Hugo
