I'd also say: look for coworking spaces that don't focus on teams, but instead on individual workers. they may or may not say that as explicitly as we do.
IME, teams sharing space tend to be more inward-focused (i.e. mostly talk within their team) leaving less room to connect for individuals. YMMV.

this really depends on a combination of the spot itself and your own participation.
best advice is to try multiple spots for at least a couple of days each, put yourself in common areas instead of hidden away, and ask the team/other members for their recommendations on ways to get involved.
