It's been just under a year and we totally flipped around how we make money. Last year, The Onion subsisted on revenue from One Weird Trick ads. We turned that off and started making a newspaper.
Now, well over twice as many people get The Onion in the mail than there are people at the Knicks game.

God, there's so much joy & weirdness & wonder in this world (and more than enough sadness already), & all I want is to celebrate all that.
These angry, fearful people have taken control & they want us all to be angry and fearful & I'm trying so hard, man, so fucking hard to resist all that.

he wants to abolish the income tax and fund the government almost entirely through tariffs, thereby delivering the most regressive bonanza to the rich in the history of American taxation. He has said this many many times. He said it *at the announcement* and yet pieces like this just ignore it.
