Er, sorry, that should have been:
the sort of arrogant "I and others in this group know The Truth, but others don't" thinking that's part of colonialist thinking.

i've tended to be vary wary about engaging with fellow trans women - particularly those who claim that they can't ever have had male privilege because they've never felt male; that's not how it works - and have tended to feel much more comfortable around trans men. /6 /end

i've also regularly encountered trans women insisting that their trans experience is _The_ Trans Experience, such that i've had to 'de-educate' health professionals who took them at their word; when i've given public presentations about trans stuff, i've been sure to emphasise ... /4

Then, a few years ago, on a Discord server, i was lectured on male privilege by a trans woman in her 20s, who was probably in kindergarten or early primary at the time i transitioned; and i got accused of being 'transmisogynist' in a Reddit community, details here: ... /3

Are you already aware of this article? "Working in a psychiatric inpatient hospital last year, ... [m]y task—teaching groups of patients alternatives to becoming upset while stuck in a punitive setting—left me feeling like an unmistakable agent of state repression."

Was going to say something similar. "The unwashed masses are too stupid to ever do anything of their own accord; they're being driven by a rat under a chef's hat."

Resilience: The characteristic individuals are expected to develop by multiple systems of oppression in order to deal with the consequences of that oppression, for which those systems abdicate responsibility by declaring “that's just life”.

All one needs to know is that Rust provides Blazing Fast Fearless Concurrency With Zero-Cost Abstractions. This is enough to then be able to lecture every FOSS project that they must Rewrite It In Rust.
