That's why Alexois still is a butler for Jonquilont's and he keeps a tight lip about this situation. This changed the dynamic of Alexois and Merewina's relationship and it is one of the reasons why he pushed her away. He doesn't want to break the rules because he wants to be close to Merewina.

This was the first time Alexois raised a voice against his master. The heated conversation continued until Lady Frine gave in but she put strict rules for him. He was only to serve and act as usual. No one, not even friends was allowed to enter Jonquilont's house or know of his job.
