In fact, several states have “trigger laws” which specifically REQUIRE them to kill ACA Medicaid expansion if the feds ever start paying less than 90% of the cost. Most others will have to do so simply because they can’t afford to go from paying 10% to as much as 50% of the cost.

The beauty of this from a sociopathic Trump/GOP POV is that not only do they get to claim *they* “didn’t kick anyone off” the program, they can actually blame the STATES and the ENROLLEES for losing their coverage.

The fig leaf will be that the bill itself technically won’t actually remove anyone currently eligible—it’ll just reduce the share of the cost paid by the federal government, forcing states to pick up the extra cost. Since almost none could afford to, THEY’LL terminate the expansion programs.

The other major provision will be to impose “work requirements” for Medicaid eligibility, which have proven to be an abject failure (by design) everywhere they’ve been used so far.

In the nuttier corners of conspiracy land the vaccines caused it, period. The more educate version is that some kids were vulnerable to vaccine effects (or mercury, etc) because of their genes. The hard reality is autism is often diagnosed around the time of vaccinations, and people need reasons /2

I'll say as a lawyer for tax exempt orgs (incl Higher Ed): Harvard is tax exempt as a school under Sec 170(b)(1)(A)(ii) which means the only requirements are (1) operate a school and (2) file annually with the IRS. Congress would need to amend the IRC before the IRS can legally revoke its status.

This motherfucker should have his name stripped. He’s a fucking disgrace to his father’s legacy. He’s a goddamned piece of shit, and everyone who voted for Trump voted for this.
