Stretching a pun to its limit there.
Almost as good as my Edith Piaf one - She was addicted to charcuterie from Touraine and couldn't find it in Paris, hence here most famous song

The Express is the most stupid paper (definitely not a newspaper) in the UK and it has some real competition to get there. Formerly owned by a pornographer (Richard 'Dirty' Desmond) and now owned by clueless group 'Reach' with no interest in journalism at all.

Curious isn't it? Having a pleasant discussion and someone chimes in saying they aren't interested. Why do they bother to respond if it isn't to their taste?

Essential reading for our Labour Government which seems determined to throw resources at Private Health care instead of our NHS.

It seems to be the Government ( both Labour and Tory) that all benefit claimants are scroungers and cheats and must be policed stringently whilst the rich are given free reign by HMRC.

Which one do you think yields the biggest results? Which one hurts people in real need by criminalising benefits - the assumption seems to be that anyone on benefits is a cheat.

All the signs are that Starmer is abandoning all of Labour's key principles and selling out to big business! Rachel Reeves is practically a Tory.

We don't do colonies anymore we have a Commonwealth of nations and good relations with most of them.
We don't talk about our Royals, they are useless inbred arrogant twits who have no real power (but lots of untaxed wealth). There are some splendid examples!

Just that Brewers are the worst monopolists in any industry, they reduce competition deliberately eliminate jobs, become tools of corrupt politicians whom they seek to appease, none of which could happen if the indpendent brewers they swallowed up had been left alone. Power corrupts.

We used to have local beers in the UK, now we have Mega brewers from Holland and the US shutting down all local brewers and producing Monopiss.
