Protip: are you launching a new comic at this year’s @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social? Is it your first comic? Do you know when is a good day to get in touch with your printer of choice about it? Today. Today is a good day for that. Well, not *today* obviously, it’s a weekend.

Ok, chums. It’s been a while, so I’m gonna bring back something from twitter. Every weekend, if you’re someone new to making comics and want some advice on writing, art, or the industry in general, DMs are open.

So happy to share that i'm writing and drawing a H.E.R.B.I.E. series for Marvel Unlimited! Join the Fantastic Four's reliable robot pal on new adventures every Friday!

A surprise in the post today! Not only is it real, it’s in my hands! Out September 16! A family curse, a timeless love story and banshees? (Oh my!)✨

I will be with @rikworth.bsky.social at the Northern Literary Festival at the University of Lancashire for a "Bringing History to Life!" workshop & book signing on Sat 19 July 12pm - the perfect way to celebrate 2 days after publication day! Book free tickets: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/kidslitfes...

Here’s the cover drawing for CAMRA’s new issue of BEER magazine. It ties in with @morrighani.bsky.social’s newly released BEER FESTIVALS book, the cover I’ve posted previously.🍻

Gorgeous early review of Who Killed Nessie! I think @rachaelsmith.bsky.social and I pleased this reader! monkeysfightingrobots.co/review-who-k...

Show me how you draw armour 🗡️

Always my favourite. Nightcrawler

I shouldn't post this tease because it'll still be a couple of weeks at least before backers get these delivered, but I have the first print proof of GEEZER 3. just like to say it is perfect and I cannot wait for everyone to see this. credit: me and @williampotter.com

A midsummer evening of fiction, talks and music inspired by pagan places and standing stones. This is a special event to celebrate Dark Earth's third birthday. Ramsey Campbell, Simon Bestwick, John Reppion, and M.S. Swift. With music from Orchids. www.eventbrite.com/e/solstice-r...

A few life drawings from yesterday evening

#LunchBag #flashback. I had so much fun making these for my kids everyday for a five year stretch. Still my favourite #art project ever. #ArtForMyKids #ThomasPerkins #PenAndInk

My plea to parents is to take your children to libraries as much as your complicated parenting schedule can possibly allow. Help your children understand that this resource belongs to them and to the community, and that anyone attempting to take it away is stealing from them.

This TFTQ shilling still rankles after all these years. Whenever I was involved in KS projects would worry about being even 1% dishonest or not upfront & having 100% angry braying mob with pitchforks burning down whatever good name I had. But this guy just keeps sailing way beyond the horizon

Dunno really, sci fi stuff?

OK… THIS IS IT! Rasp: Book One is NOW FUNDING on Kickstarter! 🥳🥳🥳 It’s easily the most challenging thing I’ve ever worked on. I really hope you're going to love this as much as I love working on it. Here's where to find it! 👉 www.kickstarter.com/projects/ras...

Siphoning off all excess spending power into profits for billionaires means normal people don’t get to do fun things anymore.

I am taking on project bookings for 2025 onwards... Clients: ARROW Films, 101 FILMS. Dark Horse Comics. 88 Films, Vinegar Syndrome, Umbrella entertainment and many more. Find my work here lucaspeverillart.com Catch me at lucaspeverillart(a)gmail(DOT)com Thanks for looking!

I am going to be creating a prototype of a new (secret for now) narrative game this year. I need to find two people, both UK-BASED (sorry): a freelance dev and a freelance illustrator. If interested in working with me (and if you have a clearly REAL profile to screen for AI), do DM me.

Summer 1974 and the ferry from Burtonport Co. Donegal to Bran Island has made room for a “precariously perched car”. According to photographer Frank Bodson, the whole caboodle “excited no interest” among those on-board. (Observer magazine, 1/9/74.)

Here’s my sleeve for this year’s Secret 7. Acrylic ink on watercolour paper. Thank you very much to the winning bidder. All proceeds to War Child

It's the 1st of June so @rikworth.bsky.social's and my book is officially coming out NEXT MONTH.
