Dreythas (they/them) #Avowed

democratic process.

You ever think about how they got rid of commonplace split screen co-op etc when peoples average TVs got big enough to make it actually viable

someone: mentions my special interest me, ears perking up like a dog, running over to them at top speed: hello, you rang?

British actors not doing "generic American" accents is always fun

The "exceptional hardship" excuse is only available to a driver knowing that their livelihood depends on being able to drive yet choosing to act so criminally dangerously behind the wheel of a car that they exceed the already generous maximum license endorsements. It needs to be abolished.

If Labour have created this hostile an environment for disabled people in just the first seven months – what do the next five years hold? And how many of us will still be here to tell the tale at the end of it? My column for @thecanaryuk.bsky.social www.thecanary.co/opinion/2025...

LEVERAGE IS ON PRIME WITH SUBTITLES THIS IS NOT A DRILL

Just think we can do better than implying Musk and Trump are lovers, that would be least and least worrying thing about them were it true.

I've been screaming this for years.

If “concerns” about migration weren’t rooted in racism, you’d see people like Nigel Farage talking out against, for example, elderly British “expats” moving to Spain or France. But you don’t see that, because their concern isn’t actually migration, but who is migrating, and that is rooted in racism.

To hold up the Hay festival as if it's the last bastion of the arts in this country is... odd. A return train ticket to the festival is £140 from my nearest station. Each talk costs around £15, or £120 for premium access. Then there's accommodation to pay for. I don't know a single writer who goes.

Got those looking for a clean link … deadline.com/2025/02/leve...

Remember when rich people funded the arts not because they expected a return on investment but just for the sake of having more art? We were really cooking with that one.

Trans game dev friends of mine, I have a precocious fifteen-year-old trans guy high school student who is wanting to ask some interview questions. Four simple questions, relaxed deadline, no personal info required, it's more "how has being trans impacted the work you do" type stuff. Anyone keen?

Feb 24th 1989 - Laura Palmer was murdered in the early hours of the morning. Later that morning, her body was discovered down river. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper was assigned the case. 📺📅 Twin Peaks (1990) #TwinPeaks

labour are cutting 5 billion from disability while they steal our money and live a life in opulence.

at some point you realize most of the "using references is cheating, using models is cheating, using program tools is cheating, photobashing is cheat" propaganda comes from insecure people who have made skill ubiquitous with suffering. and without it, they find little worth in the work they make.
